He sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners

Isaiah 61:1 NIV

Chile, let's be for real for real

Me: It ain't always easy out here living for Christ

My thoughts: (reader) God has anointed you, appointed you and prophecied that you are chosen, you are called...

Still my thoughts: You came to bind the brokenhearted, free the captives and get those prisoners out of darkness.

Us: But God it is real in these streets I have been praying and crying about my finances, the bill collectors called again and I did not answer the phone but you know I still don't have the money. Lord, you know I been waiting on you to send me a good relationship. When is my life ever gonna turn around? You told me to start this business but the business been taking all my money, my time and now I just don't know what to do. Anyway I will pray again and hopefully God will hear me this time.

God: Are you going to wait on me to speak? Are you going to pay attention to what I am telling you to do? I have anointed you for such a time as this, but you will need to connect with the right people, hear the right teaching and learn the right things so you can produce the right fruit.

Ugggghhhh, over and over I have been trying to do things and failing not understanding what I was supposed to be doing but the answer was right in front of me, all I needed to do was press play.

I don't know if you are anything like me but there are some things when it sounds too easy I am uncertain about it. God said to "trust me", that's all and things will work out? But why didn't it work for Suzie and Bill? See that is where we go wrong worrying considering the other persons journey not understanding their struggle.

"Stay in your lane"

No, don't worry about Bill and Suzie worry about trusting God, What is He saying for you and your life? He is saying to you today I want to take you to another level but it is time to 'get over it'.

The Israelites weaped and mourned for Moses for thirty days then the time for mourning was over, no more mourning over that bad relationship. No more mourning over the fact that things did not work out, no more mourning pver that job you wanted. There is a time and season for everything, for people, events and a time to move on.

Queen Esther was thrusted into the spotlight when Queen Vashti chose not to go to her husband the King when he sent for her. They searched for the right woman who would become queen. Esther must have been a good listener, she paid attention, maybe even submissive, caring and prayerful. Ordinarily who would think you would get a job at a company that would be able to help hire so many people when the economy was bad. Hopefully, pride did not over take and the thought of living for Christ is out the window. Each of us were designed for such a time, we were put in a place to help such a people but we maybe stuck on some old issues. The power in pain is crippling, it is traumatizing and it keeps people from living their full potential.

Get over it...learn God's truth, get over that hurt and pain from your past. God never wanted you to carry that burden anyway, remember He is a gentleman. God has prepared you for such a time as this but you have not gotten over the fact that your kids wants nothing to do with you. That someone stole from you or maybe this is you with childhood trauma and you are still unable to make sensible decisions and now you can't understand why life is going haywire.

I think this is for you, pay very close attention because God wants to set you free.

Ruth followed a woman that was not her mother, she was free from the relationship with her son, she was released to start a new life, she was free to date again. She got over it! Imagine her not being over that dead relationship literally and meeting Boaz but she mourned for way too long and her heart was still broken, she was still bitter and angry. Her attitude could have turned Boaz away. Many times we think well God I have been waiting so long but God is saying I need you to work with me...I need you to get over it!

For the longest you have been making excuses as to why you would not submit to God but you've been blaming Him for the mistakes you have made yourself but it tis time for you to please get over it!

Look at ya boy Joseph he had every right in the world to never trust again. His brothers taunted and teased him as a child and was even jealous. They were disgusted and sold him to slavery. While there he worked his way from the absolute bottom to the top. He did not have a pity party for himself. He recognized his gifts, he disciplined himself and he used his gift so it can open doors for him. He moved on up into the palace. At last all will be well then this weak woman came on to him, twisted the story and again Joesph was at the bottom. Put in prison for being faulsely accused for rape. You may feel like you are at the bottom today but God is saying "get over it" He wants to make sure you rise. There was some grooming that came with this journey, there was some patience you learnt during the time, there was endurance training.

God spoke to Jeremiah, Ezekiel and so many others saying that he had set them apart for a specific time and season for specific people. There are so many people that need to hear your testimony in order to give their lives to Christ. It is like those informercials people need to see Him in you before they truly believe, to see a living testimony. Joseph's life at different points looked like he wouldn't go anywhere. How would a person be qualified for a job with his background in cell block C? God said it doesn't matter where you came from but it is where I want to take you. God allowed this to happen and when God shone His glory on Joseph even his brothers were at his mercy. Joseph cried when he recognized the people who sold him, taunted him and teased him were face to face with him. God did not have to worry because those old scars were healed, he got over it. The temptation to show off was out the door. He had the opportunity to mistreat them but did not. Like David when Saul got jealous and wanted to kill David. David had multiple opportunites to kill Saul but he did not.

Getting over it releases you from the scars, pain, stronghold, shame and guilt that is connected to that thing/person/place.

There is an event at our church that is the big bang every quarter. A few nights ago we hosted this event. Uncertain of what God wanted to do we were given instructions, read a particular scripture and meditate on it. That sounded so simple but after getting that word it was almost forgotten from social media, talking/gossiping.

Could following instructions really validate what I need to know or hear?

Well that is a way we can get revelation, the way God manifests Himself. In Luke 13:10-13 there was a lady that was bent over for many years and healed after Jesus noticed her.

What made her so significant? Was it her affliction? Or mabe it was her desire.

Regardless of what it is God noticed you. He is said be loose today from the bondage of guilt, condemnation and shame. Be let loose from those past wounds but those afflictions were for your testimony, it for you to free others from mental bondage, and from sin. What you went through was to perfect you, in Jesus' name be set free.

Getting over it means that God can decorate you with blessings, with gifts and breakthrough, more than you can ever imagine. Esther went from living with her uncle to becoming queeen, Ruth got her Boaz, Joseph became Prime Minister and David became king. Chile, be loose from that thing that kept you bound, be loose from that country, home or people.
