Don't you just hate it when you give people advice they don't take it and they come right back to you to tell you what happened. There is a part of honoring that we may shy away from and not ever really want to deal with and that is serving and obeying.

Ewwwww chal that is how I got pregnant serving and obeying the wrong people!

But the after affects of disobedience is so disasterous and it is unbelievable that so many people continuously do things wrong. I've seen other friends, family and even people on tv have children young and I saw how hard it was yet still I had sex and got pregnant and didn't think about how much stress and frustration it would bring; even seeing women struggling with the child/children on their own shouldv'e been the red flag for me to at least protect myself but the trick was and is to make us feel as if yeah this is going to be different and it is okay to have sex (I am especially speaking about being a youth) but even adults we know that there are consequences. When we look at the story of Rehoboam he disregarded the things that he may have learned or was taught by his father, he knew he needed to have wise counsel but deecided still to ask friends. Smh I told you I asked my friends about sex and that was my guideline and understanding about sex at that time, they had no knowledge of the consequences: physically, mentally or emotionally. Physically my body changed and desired sex more, mentally I had thoughts of porn and felt more okay with watching movies that had nudity (yes you may think it is okay but when you see these things it creates a desire in you that you may want to refrain from if you are waiting for marriage)this opens the door to things like masturbationn and watching pornography. Pornography and other sexual acts can led to other strongholds. All of this steming from one act, one time you may have disobeyed or only one area you may be disobedient.
