THE JOURNEY STARTS HERE!

Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave them the right to become children of God.

John 1:12

There is no sales pitch needed, the interest and mission never changed and that is for each of us to have right standing with God. To be apart of a Kingdom where there is unspeakable love and blessings. The journey in Christ begins with acknowledging that you are imperfect and that you are a sinner in need of a Savior. This can only happen by going to the Father through His son Jesus, who came on this earth and died so we have this covenant. To be able to have a connection with God the Father, this is also opening ourselves to being vulnerable to Him allow God into our hearts, homes and lives. Making this confession is the first step on your journey.

Next after accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior believing in His word and that His name is above every other name. He can have access to guiding, directing and fulfilling HIs promises in our lives. Maybe you have never heard all of this before but in order to be a follower of Christ-a Christian there are a few things we need to do. We do not have to make any sacrifices, no pentenance or ritual. It is simple and sometimes too simple to comprehend how this amazing God can just forgive. But what has been done in our past, after giving our life to Christ is no more of a concern for God, He is not angry, not wanting to wait to punish you or inflict pain on His children. Matthew 7:11 says what better we here on earth who has evil in our hearts can give good gifts how much more the God of heaven who is 'love'. His love is uncomprehensive to us here on earth, He knows that you will make mistakes, He knows that you have desires, He knows how much we can bear; and He has made provision for those things. There are some things that we may not be able to handle in a certain stage or level in our lives. As we grow in Him we are able to handle more and more as He gives us accesss to things we once were not able to have access to. Very much like what it should be like in a typical family dynamic. A loving parent that does not allow the child to do everything but as the child get older they are able to do more until the child is able to fully function with less or little supervision. God is not a dictator He gives us the ability to choose life or death Deuteronomy 30:19 says He is life.

In addition, to acquiring the community of God you conclude on salvation and make a commitment to a life for Christ. Isn't this so exciting to be a part of a family that is willing to do 'God Therapy'. God therapy is becoming whole, no longer coming up short or trying to do it on your own. Therapy is being able to work on becoming a better you-whole. Our voids can be filled by a Savior that came to save us! My journey in Christ has not at all been a bed of roses or even easy. It has been a journey of me surrendering in different areas of my life, allowing God to have access in every area (that has been the reason why it has been so hard-giving up self). I have been in a Federal building once; there were areas that were easliy accessible with no restriction or searches, no need for ID's or passes. In those areas so many people walked about and were waiting around on lines and at picket windows for different reasons but the areas that had restriction had less people or movement. There were certain people that had the code to get in. God wants that code, so that He can correct some factory errors, teach us some things that we may have occured and messed up and some point in our lives.

We have all sinned and come short, time and time again! This is continous work. If we continue with the analogy of the Federal Building, why is that building so secure? There is valuable, important and private information that has to be restricted. Just as your heart has to be restricted, your mind has to be restricted, your thoughts has to be restricted from the enemy. Epehsians 6:12- we wrestle with things we cannot see in the realm of the spirit that wants to take from us our joy, peace, home, relationships, friendships, our mind (John 10:10). This is regardless of your relationship in Christ, in Christ we have armor (Ephesian 6:14) to protect ourselves from battles that are coming, how and when is no suriety but they will come so the federal building is prepared. They are proactive not reactive.

Being proactive is to prepare for attacks with the tools specified in Ephesians 6:15-20. Living for Christ is your way of saying to God I want you to assist me when these life battles come because I am unable to do them on my own. I want in need of a Savior to rescue me from a life of frustration, I life of stress, of anger, of feeling incomplete, a life where I feel empty. It is so good to know without a shadow of a doubt that there is a Father that loves me, that knows me and has made such great efforts in showing me how much He loves me even if there has not been people to show me that kind of love I have read about I know that there is a possiblity of having that kind of love. Love that is patient when I make mistakes, kind to still welcome me in the Kingdom and is not counting all my wrongs or even paying attention to my flaws. If you have read this blog today and have yet to ask God as your personal savior now you have a chance to accept the Lord Jesus as your personal Savior and be apart of the Kingdom. There is a prayer that you can read and after reading it you can send a message to me in the 'Connect with Us' section. I am so excited to welcome you into the family, remember you are not alone. There is more to know and partnership to grow. I have been fortunate to write a book called 'Before the Veil' this book would encourage and boost your faith if you are just joining this family

THE LORD'S PRAYER

Father, I am a sinner in need of a Savior

Father, I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in my heart that he has been raised from the dead.

I confess right now that Jesus is Lord over my life and

I renounce my past life and convenants with Satan and the rulers in this world.

Thank You for forgiving me of my sins and allowing me to become a new creation and have a relationship with you.

In Jesus' name the name that is above every other name
