ACTIVATE YOUR FAITH

"God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful."

1 Thessalonians 5:24

Each and everyone of us are called, we are called to specific people, we are called with a specific word, we are called to help or strengthen other in the kingdom. Upbringing and experiences may cause us to run away from what we are actually called to do but sometime the circumstances we've been through has equipped us to get it done. Tapping into our Father, He is your Father too for information, for direction is getting rid of pride and leaning into faith. Faith is to have confidence in someone, in this case in the God.

I started to share with you last week about how I was blessed by someone at the church when I needed the reminder of my rent (it was given down to the very cent). I am talking about that kinda faith, absolutely no certainty but moving in obedience because God said. I remember returning home after living abroad for so many years I knew it was time to return I knew God had work for me but I didn't know how it would all play out. I started to try and fix things the way I wanted it but it never worked I attempted to return when I didn't like the scenario that I saw in front of me hahaha that did not work. I got this beanie pillow that I have now made my seat for prayer, I sat there and cried I couldn't get things to work the way I wanted it yes I was following God but I what I attempted to do was have Him follow me. Walking in faith is doing the exact opposite. There are so many lingo's and terminology's we use in the body of Christ that we either don't understand or we have been mimics. We walk by faith and not by sight; when I went from a bank account with many 0's to literally 1-0 I knew I needed God to intervene on my behalf. I knew that the word said that God will supply ALL of my needs, I knew the bible said that we are apart of a ROYAL priesthood and if my Father is the King of all kings and the Lord of all lords then I needed to figure out how to let this reflect in my life. To get this to ACTIVATE I needed FAITH. I need to submit all of me, my thoughts, my plans, my will and my life to Him.

How do you do that? Before decision making or trying to do anything now without peace or a word from God I take some time to pray, quick decision making as well. Which store to go to, I usually get the best deal when I do it this way. My track record shows that I will not commit to doing something if I don't have God's go ahead. I will tell you even the confidence and boldness is different with Him at my side. I know I am not doing it by myself; if things are looking a little shakey I know there is a master plan behind it.

God wants your faith and strength to be in Him, through Him; we get burnt out, frustrated and exhausted when we go running in our own tangent. I've been burnt out and frustrated many times and it always brought me right back to God. Instead of running with a idea you want God to bless; let Him give you an idea that will be a blessing.
